It was two goals in quick succession for Jolley, before a trademark Robinson free-kick and Williams' goal from a corner in the second-half sealed the points in another impressive performance from the Development Squad.
Latics, who started in a 4-3-1-2 formation, made four changes following their 3-2 defeat to Doncaster Rovers last week, with Under 18 stars Robinson, Adam Long and Víctor Maffeo coming into the defence, with Scott Smith replacing Olly Crankshaw, with the forward set to be involved in the Manchester Premier Cup on loan at Curzon Ashton.
The hosts started the game brightly and got their just reward inside 11 minutes, Divin Baningime, who also featured in the last Development Squad game, found team-mate Jolley, and the forward made no mistake by putting Latics infront.
Notts County threatened soon after and came close to equalising, though they had a header cleared off the line before Jolley added his second of the game in the 25th minute, receiving the ball off of Baningime again before finishing exquisitely to score his 28th goal across Latics senior academy teams so far this campaign.
The visitors came close to halfing the deficit in the second half as Owen Evans was called into action, making a point-blank save from Sam Osborne.
Jolley came close to adding Latics’ third and his hat-trick as he latched onto the loose ball before the defender, but he was denied by Notts County goalkeeper, Max Culverwell.
Despite pressure, Latics added their third in the 65th minute, courtesy of a curling free-kick from left back, Luke Robinson, adding to his first one scored for the Under 18s earlier in the season against Rochdale. A sure-fire February Goal of the Month contender.
Notts County nearly got themselves back into the game a few minutes later, as substitute Kion Etete’s sliding effort flashed wide of Evans’ post, with the goalkeeper well beaten.
Though, Latics’ ensured the three points were theirs with ten minutes remaining as defender, Denzel Williams found space to dispatch Alex Perry’s corner from the right-hand side.
Latics’ fourth goal was Williams’ second of the season, after previously scoring in Latics’ 3-1 over Morecambe.
The visitors did grab a consolation goal in the last few minutes of the game, much to Nick Chadwick’s sides frustration, as Osborne skipped past two Latics players before firing into the top corner from a tight angle inside the box.
It was a much deserved win for Latics, who return to winning ways following their defeat to Doncaster, with five wins from their last six games in all competitions.
Latics’ Development Squad are next in action on Tuesday 12 February in the Central League away at Rotherham United.
