Winger leaves Latics after agreeing personal terms

Wigan Athletic can confirm that Victor Moses has completed his move to Chelsea after personal terms were agreed with the European Champions.

A fee was agreed between the clubs on Thursday and on the completion of personal discussions the 21-year-old brings to an end his two-year spell at Latics.

Moses arrived in February 2010 from Crystal Palace as one of the Championship’s top young talents, going on to realise his potential at the DW Stadium making his international debut earlier this year for Nigeria for whom he now has three caps.

Working under Roberto Martinez, the winger made 74 league appearances for Latics, scoring eight goals and last season featured in every Barclays Premier League match helping the team achieve a 15th place finish with seven goals.
