Irish striker Conor Sammon completes move to Pride Park
After 14 months at the DW Stadium, the former Kilmarnock striker has today completed a move from Wigan Athletic to Derby County.
Sammon joined Latics in January 2011 from the SPL side and made 32 Barclays Premier League appearances, scoring once.
The Irishman’s goal proved crucial at the end of the 2010-11 campaign when he equalised against West Ham United in May 2011.
He became a firm, fan-favourite, giving 100% commitment every time he pulled on a Latics shirt.
Wigan Athletic would like to wish Conor all the best at his new club and in the rest of his career.
