Including exclusive video message from Roberto Martinez

Make sure to pick up your official matchday programme this weekend when Latics take on West Ham United at the DW Stadium.

This weekend’s edition is crammed full of exclusive interviews and features with video content also available to those with smart phones.

The Aurasma Lite application (free to download for iPad or iPhone and high powered Android devices) allows fans to view a personal message from the Gaffer ahead of Saturday’s game, as well as footage of St. Andrews Church of England Primary School’s recent visit to Christopher Park training ground. Page 38 will explain all.

Elsewhere in the programme Arouna Kone gives an exclusive interview talking about his time at Latics so far, adapting to the Premier League, forming a dangerous partnership with Franco Di Santo up-front, what happened on his last international trip with Senegal and how his religion has helped in his career to date. The revealing interview is not to be missed.

Ali Al Habsi looks forward to reacquainting himself with some familiar faces when he lines up against West Ham in our Dressing Room feature whilst there are also interviews with Roman Golobart and Omar Thompson in our Academy section.

Albert Jackson, the 2003-04 season and the number 5 are the focus of attention in our history features thanks to the expertise of Jeff Rourke and Paul Rowley, whilst David Unsworth talks openly about his time at both Latics and West Ham United in The Final Word.

Another Club legend, Neill Rimmer reflects on how West Ham United played an important role in his career and a sobering thought that dawned on him upon our visit to Upton Park earlier this season.

There’ll be an extra name on our squad list on the back cover this weekend together with a tribute to the fan in question who celebrated a very special birthday earlier this week and we also have a special piece on Joseph Kendrick, a three-year old boy who needs your help to fight an incredibly rare genetic disorder, please take note and see if you can help. For more information [click here].

There’s also news of a special fundraising event being held for Braiden-Lee Prescott, another young boy who needs your help in his fight against neuroblastoma. For more information [click here].

As always we have regular updates from the Community Trust, Chief Executive Jonathan Jackson talks about what’s been going on behind the scenes since our last home game and Captain Gary Caldwell issues his rallying call before the big game.

All this and much more is waiting for you in the latest official matchday programme, available for just £3.00 from programme sellers around the ground and inside the Club Shop at the DW Stadium tomorrow. For details on how to subscribe to the programme [click here].
