Spanish goalkeeper wants to show appreciation to supporters at Wembley.

Joel Robles was handed his Wigan Athletic debut in the FA Cup when Latics progressed through the fourth round away at Macclesfield Town and now he plans on keeping up the FA Cup dream.

Robles said:

"It has been great for me to get matches and the cup has given me the chance to fight for my place in the team.

"I hope that I am playing but every player will be the same.

"Whether I’m on the pitch or on the bench on Saturday I will be cheering the players on and I hope it’s going to be great day for the fans."

Talking about the fans, Robles expressed his gratitude for their hospitality since he arrived on loan in January from Atletico Madrid.

"I want to thank the supporters for the way they have been with me.

"I think they are fantastic fans who obviously love the team.

"I am the sort of person who likes to show my appreciation and I think the fans like that."
