Uwe Rosler stars on our cover ahead of his home debut in charge of Latics.

With the biggest crowd of the season expected at the DW Stadium this Sunday for Wigan Athletic’s derby clash with Bolton Wanderers everything is poised for another memorable match-up against our local rivals.

Make sure you pick up your official matchday programme with new manager Uwe Rosler featuring on the front cover and inside gives his very first message to the fans.

We’ve got the expert opinion from one man who knows Rosler very well, BBC Radio Manchester’s Ian Cheeseman who tells us why Latics and Rosler is a match made in heaven, whilst his colleague Paul Rowley looks at some memorable moments from derby clashes of yesteryear.

Elsewhere one of Latics’ derby day heroes Lee McCulloch talks about life at Rangers, how much he misses being a Wigan Athletic player and why travelling supporters may want to keep their eyes peeled!

Roger Espinoza gives his thoughts on the draw for next year’s World Cup as well as his predictions for who will lift the famous trophy, James McClean tells us his favourites which include Friends, Thomas Muller and Football Manager, and Nicky Eaden and Gareth Farrelly feature in the latest edition of Swapping Shirts.

As always we’ve got all your regular features including messages from Gary Caldwell, Jonathan Jackson and the latest news from the Community Trust and Academy, whilst Neill Rimmer gives his thoughts on derby day, the appointment of Uwe Rosler and his thoughts on the past few weeks.

All this and much more is waiting for you in the latest edition of the official matchday programme, available for just £3.00 from programme sellers around the DW Stadium on Sunday and inside the Club Shop.
