Striker to join Mexican club after three years with Latics
Wigan Athletic can confirm that a deal has been agreed with Mexican team Club Leon for the transfer of Argentinean striker Mauro Boselli for an undisclosed fee.
The 29-year-old has agreed terms with the club and will leave Latics after three years at the DW Stadium.
During that time Boselli made 23 appearances in all competitions, scoring five goals, four of which came this season including a winning goal against AFC Bournemouth in the third round of the FA Cup.
The forward joined Latics in 2010, signing from Argentina club Estudiantes, one of three clubs he would spend loan spells at during his time as a Wigan Athletic player, together with Italian sides Genoa and Palermo, ending last season with the latter.
