Latics fans show their colours ahead of run-in and FA Cup Final

Latics fans, business owners and employees around the town of Wigan have started to come together to 'paint the town blue' ahead of a crucial period for Roberto Martinez's side. The next three weeks see Latics face four crucial Barclays Premier League matches plus the FA Cup Final at Wembley on 11 May.

Wigan Council launched their #BelieveInWigan campaign just a week ago which has seen a number of key signposts appear in the town centre including flags, banners and the giant "Believe In Wigan" banner on the floor of the Grand Arcade Shopping Centre.

Countless schools have also done their bit to support Latics while at the same time raising money for the charity Joseph's Goal.  Pupils have paid a small fee to spend the day dressed in blue and white to show their support.

Shops and business in the town have also been showing their support.  Pictured above staff from the Symphony Music Technology Centre decorated their window which included a shiny piece of silverware of their own - a silver saxophone complete with blue and white ribbons.

We'd love to see your photos of how you've been showing your support and you can send them to us using our Facebook and Twitter pages or by emailing them to

We'll pass all the photos to the manager Roberto Martinez who will pick the best three.  Each of our three winners will receive an FA Cup semi-final programme signed by the Wigan Athletic squad.

Make sure you email, tweet or Facebook your photo to us by Friday 10 May and we'll contact the winners on Monday 13 May.
