Nicholls is the cover star for Saturday’s Huddersfield edition

Saturday’s official matchday programme is once again filled with exclusive interviews and features, with Lee Nicholls making the front cover.

It’s somewhat of a goalkeeper-special edition with the 21-year-old taking about being thrust into the limelight against Charlton Athletic last weekend and goalkeeping coach Phil Hughes giving his thoughts on being back at the club.

Speaking of second comings, Paul Rowley takes a look back at some of the names to have come back for more at Wigan Athletic in his Latics Scrapbook.

Elsewhere, we reflect on a memorable meeting between Latics and Huddersfield Town from the 2002/03 season in Classic Encounter, and we’ve managed to uncover the official programme from when the two sides met for the first time back in 1973.

Remember Andy Webster? Well, we track his career since leaving Latics after his brief stint at the club back in 2007, and a clash between two former Latics players representing Everton and Blackburn Rovers is the focus of Swapping Shirts.

Roger Espinoza is under the spotlight for 5 of the best and we all our regular features including Community and Academy news, and messages from Owen Coyle and Gary Caldwell, with Jonathan Jackson recalling the day he helped make sure Latics v Huddersfield went ahead back in 1979...with the help of straw!

All this and much more is waiting for you in another fantastic edition of the official matchday programme, available from programme sellers around the DW Stadium on Saturday priced at just £3.00.

Alternatively, if you can’t make it to the game on Saturday, you can order you programme online with no addition postage and packaging costs. [click here] to find out how.
