Fyvie suffers debut injury for Yeovil as Kiernan continues clean sheet run at Southend.

Fraser Fyvie made his Yeovil Town debut just days after joining the Somerset club on loan during last week, but it wasn't the start he had hoped for as the Scotland Under 21 international midfielder was forced off after just 22 minutes with a shoulder injury.

The Glovers went on to draw the game 0-0 against Brighton & Hove Albion at Huish Park to pick up their first home point of the season.

There were mixed results for Latics' loan starlets in League Two, as Jordan Mustoe and Bury slipped to a 1-0 defeat away at Portsmouth, with the left sided defender completing 90 minutes.

On Friday night under the lights of Roots Hall, Rob Kiernan continued his impressive development at Southend United, as the Shrimpers hosted Fleetwood Town, securing a 2-0 victory to move up to sixth in the league and just three points from the top.

Kiernan also completed 90 minutes, helping his side to keep a second clean sheet in a row.

Up in the Scottish Championship, 19-year-old forward Rakish Bingham made his first ever professional start as Falkirk were undone at home 2-1 against Dumbarton.

The lively front man had a good game according to Falkirk reports, creating a number of chances and coming close with a few efforts of his own.
