Semi-professional and grass roots football takes centre stage this weekend.

Non-League Day, the campaign to promote semi-professional and grass roots football, returns for a fourth consecutive season on Saturday 7th September 2013.

The newly launched website features a wealth of information on this year’s campaign, including a handy match finder

Speaking of this year’s event, Campaign Manager Mike Bayly advised:

"Whether you’re a Premier League or Championship fan without a game, a League One or League Two supporter who can’t make an away trip, or just someone who is curious about what their local club has to offer, there is sure to be something to interest everyone."

Many clubs will be holding special events and price incentives on the day, including fundraising for local and national causes.

For those interested in Non-League day, teams playing locally to Wigan Athletic are; Wigan Robin Park, Skelmersdale United, Chorley FC and Oldham Borough.
