EMMERSON BOYCE VISITS THE GRAND ARCADE

10 April 2014

Emmerson Boyce visits the Grand Arcade for Wigan Council's #BelieveSelfie

Emmerson Boyce joined Wigan Warriors' captain Sean O'Loughlin and Team GB pole vaulter Harry Coppell as they unveiled  the 'Believe in Wigan' line-up at the Grand Arcade in Wigan town centre.

Boycey, O'Loughlin and Coppell pledged their support to the campaign along with Team GB's Gregg Warburton, Kyle Evans, Heather Fredriksen, Hayley Jones and Jenny Meadows, as well as Nottinghamshire County cricket's Steven Mullaney and Leigh Centurions' Martyn Ridyard.

You can see the banners of all of the sports stars around the Grand Arcade and as part of the campaign they will be taking 'selfies' to help promote the #BelieveSelfie, encouraging the people of Wigan and supporters of the Borough's athletes to follow suit.

The event at the Grand Arcade and Wigan Town Hall was also attended by Deputy Leader of Wigan Council, Councillor David Molyneux who got the ball rolling with his 'selfie'.
