The Development Squad start their new season in the prestigious county cup as they take on Bury in the LFA Molson Coors Senior Cup final at the LFA headquarters in Leyland.
Latics take on eight times winners Bury, having dispatched of Preston North End in the quarter final and Bolton Wanderers in the semi-final.
Bury reached the final after a first round walkover against Accrington Stanley, a 2-1 quarter final victory against Blackburn Rovers, followed by a 2-1 win in the semi-final against Burnley.
Joe Parkinson’s Latics readied themselves during pre-season against Southport, Charnock Richard, Birmingham City and Blackburn, with two draws and two defeats.
Latics themselves are three times winners of the LFA Senior Cup and will be hoping to make it three trophies in the space of five months, having last season won both the Final Third Development League West and the FTDL Cup.
Supporters can pay on the turnstiles and prices are £8 for adults and £4 concessions.
