  • Exclusive chat with new signing Oriol Riera.
  • Callum McManaman talks about his first and lasts.

The new Sky Bet Championship campaign brings new players, new staff, new teams and also a new programme here at Wigan Athletic.

The club’s new official matchday programme, priced at just £3, is packed with exclusive content including a chat with new addition Oriol Riera.

The Spanish frontman talks about growing up as a Barcelona youngster, playing in La Liga, his early days with Latics and also clears up the mystery of his goal celebration as seen last season when he scored for Osasuna.

On signing for Latics, after ‘achieving his dream’ of playing in La Liga, Riera said:

“I started playing football very young at Barca’s youth academy and I was there for seven years, I was able to make my debut at 17 years old and from there my dreams have come true - now I’ve come here to do well and become a Premier League footballer.”

Uwe Rosler, Gary Caldwell and Jonathan Jackson all write their first columns of the season and we also look back at the games against SC Paderborn and Fortuna Dusseldorf in Germany.

You can now buy print or digital copies of the programme on the OPublishing website for £3 by [clicking here].
