Be sure to pick up your official Latics matchday programme on Saturday as Blackpool visit the DW Stadium.

The club’s new official matchday programme – the second of the 2014-15 campaign - is priced at just £3 and is packed with exclusive content including a chat with new addition Don Cowie.

The Scottish midfielder talks about life in a footballing family, his move from Ross County to rivals Inverness CT and how he still harbours hopes of international recognition if he can perform for Latics.

“It’s been good here; it was a wee bit frustrating when I first came in because I had a bit of a knock and I didn’t manage to do too much pre-season training but since then I’ve managed to get in with the lads and train with them and feel part of it,” Cowie explained.

“Once you’re training with them every day it makes it better and there’s a lot of familiar faces for me at this club that I’ve either played with before or come across internationally which certainly helps.

“It’s a great dressing room to come into and everyone makes you feel really welcome.”

Uwe Rosler, Gary Caldwell and Jonathan Jackson all contribute their regular columns whilst former captain Neill Rimmer gives his views on the start to the campaign.

Programmes will be on sale from sellers around the ground and also on the concourse.
