Supporters are urged not to leave it until the last minute to purchase 2014-15 Wigan Athletic season tickets.

  • Season tickets still available up until kick-off versus Reading
  • Supporters urged to allow extra time
  • Finance still available for season tickets

Wigan Athletic supporters who intend to purchase season tickets for the 2014-15 Sky Bet Championship season and have not done so yet are being urged to do so today or early tomorrow, well in time for the 3pm kick off for tomorrow’s opening game of the season against Reading - to avoid the disappointment of missing the start of the game.

The DW Stadium Ticket Office will be open until 5.00pm today, Friday 8 August and from 10.00am until 3.30pm tomorrow, Saturday 9 August, with supporters also being able to purchase via the hotline on 0871 6633552 or on

The DW Stadium ticket office has still been selling a steady flow of season tickets all week and Jonathan Jackson, Chief Executive, said:

“Season tickets are selling well but we would just advise supporters to give themselves enough time if they haven’t yet purchased season tickets and are thinking of doing so on the day. No one will be turned away but it takes a lot longer to process and therefore there could be queues, especially with supporters purchasing match day tickets.”

Supporters wishing to pay on finance will be able to reserve their seats for the season but will be asked to pay the normal price of admission for tomorrow’s match, with the sum being reimbursed once their application has been processed.

Since 2014, the club no longer has the legal authority to directly offer a direct debit facility and the club have teamed up with V12 Season Ticket Finance to offer supporters the facility to continue paying in installments.
