King Power Stadium
Latics face their stiffest test of the season so far with a trip to Under 18 Premier League second place side Leicester City in the coveted FA Youth Cup.
Peter Atherton’s side are 13 unbeaten heading to the King Power Stadium, most recently beating Preston North End 4-1 to progress into the semi-final of the Lancashire FA Youth Cup.
They face a Leicester side who won five in a row before their last game, a 2-1 defeat away to table toppers Chelsea.
Latics head into the game top of the Youth Alliance, but Leicester are just one of two big tests for the team this week, with a trip to second place Rochdale also on the cards for Saturday.

Derby County were Latics’ third round opponents last season, with Matthew Hamilton and Louis Robles’ double not enough as they fell to a 4-3 defeat at the iPro Stadium.
