The County Ground, Leyland

Latics clash with Bolton for the second time this season, having battled to win 1-0 at Robin Park Arena in the Lancashire FA Cup quarter final in November.

Jordan Flores provided the crucial goal that afternoon, with Latics up against an experienced Bolton outfit.

Since then it's been three straight victories for Joe Parkinson's side, breezing past Morecambe 4-0 and edging out a 1-0 victory against Walsall last Tuesday at Christopher Park.

The hosts on the other hand haven't won a game since October 6, losing out narrowly against Middlesbrough in their last outing.

U21 PL Cup So Far

Bolton arrive in the Round of 32 for their first game of the tournament, with Latics having progressed through two qualifying rounds.

The first qualifying round also produced a local derby, in which Latics were dominant with a 5-0 victory over Preston North End.

Latics were just as impressive in the second qualifying round, dispatching of an experienced Nottingham Forest side at the City Ground, with goals from Ryan Jennings, Joey Johnson and Declan Poole earning a much deserved 3-1 win.

Team News

In recent weeks Latics have fielded strong Development Squad starting line-ups, with seven first team players involved in both the Morecambe and Walsall victories, but with Latics traveling to Watford on Saturday, there are likely to be changes. Below is the starting XI from the most recent Final Third Development League game against Walsall.
