Latics join Football League’s ‘Wall of Colour’ campaign ahead of season opener.

Wigan Athletic are delighted to join a nationwide campaign launched by the Football League this week to encourage clubs to produce a ‘Wall of Colour’ in the build up to the first home game of the new season.

And, of course, in our case, that has to be blue and white.

Clubs up and down all three Football League divisions have been asked to contribute in their own way by emphasising what their club colours mean to them and, from tomorrow, Latics fans will be able to debate on the club’s choice of 13 icons from the past 13 seasons.

Over the coming days, we’ll profile 13 Latics icons of the past 13 seasons playing in their blue and white, creating a #WallofColour on the club’s official website

We’d like fans to send in their pictures in their Latics colours from down the years on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, tagging @LaticsOfficial and using #WallofColour or #wafc. You may agree with our choices, you may disagree – that’s the point – but everyone can join the debate.

Keep posted to the club’s website and social media channels for the reveal of our 13 players and post your opinion on Latics Wall.
