Latics and a beer festival in Germany, could it get any better?

Wigan Athletic are urging supporters to secure their place for the club’s exclusive travel package to follow the team to Germany next month while seats still remain.

The superb three day package includes travel and accommodation for three nights, match tickets and an exclusive chance to watch training and meet the players and management – and all on the weekend of one of Germany’s most famous beer festivals.

The package will see supporters fly out from Manchester to Hanover on Thursday 31 July plus transfer to Paderborn. You will then watch the team train behind closed doors on the morning of Friday 1 August, before meeting the players and the manager.

Latics take on newly promoted Bundesliga side Padeborn 07 at their Benteler Arena stadium on the Friday evening.

The historic city of Padeborn then plays host to the Libori Festival during the weekend, an event that can attract over one million people described as ‘a weekend long street party as the historic centre of Paderborn is transformed into the region's longest bar well into the small hours of the night.’

Coach back to Hanover and return flight are scheduled for Sunday

The package price is £649 plus VAT per person on a twin room basis, including bed and breakfast.
