PREVIEW

It's come down to the final game of the season for Wigan Athletic's Under 18s who go in search of their first ever Football League Youth Alliance title when they take on Rochdale at Radcliffe Borough's Stainton Park on Tuesday afternoon, knowing that if they avoid defeat they'll pip current league leaders Bury to the crown.

Latics have been unbeaten in the league since September, an incredible run of 23 matches, and with four straight victories leading up to the final fixture of the season, they have pulled within one point of the young Shakers.

Bury sit top of the Youth Alliance on 65 points from all 30 of their fixtures, with a goal difference of +35, whilst Latics follow in second on 64 points from 29 matches and a superior goal difference of +44.

Opponents Rochdale will be no pushovers though, with Dale in third place on 60 points.

Latics arrive at Radcliffe having secured a convincing 3-1 win over Preston North End on Saturday morning at Christopher Park, after three away wins over Port Vale, Bury and Accrington Stanley.
