Wigan Athletic v Preston North End
Saturday 18 April 2015, kick off 11.00am
Christopher Park
Football League Youth Alliance

Latics face the first of their final two fixtures in the 2014/15 Youth Alliance season, with four points to make up on league leaders Bury who have now completed their scheduled games.

The Shakers have 65 points from their 30 matches, Latics sit second on 61 points from just 28 games and still have their final fixture of the season to be arranged away to third place Rochdale, who are now out of the running on 60 points.

Latics will be hoping to bounce back from the disappointment of Wednesday Youth Alliance Cup Northern final defeat to Oldham Athletic at Christopher Park, which saw Sam Cosgrove grabbing a late consolation in a 3-1 defeat.

Prior to Wednesday, Latics had won three in a row, dispatching of Port Vale, title rivals Bury and latterly Accrington Stanley last Saturday.
