Under 18 defender Jack White represented Northern Ireland's Under 17s last Tuesday, completing the full 90 minutes in his nation's first friendly of a double-header against Slovenia.

Northern Ireland suffered a 3-1 defeat in Zrece in the first fixture, and went on to taste a narrow defeat in the second game on Thursday afternoon, however White wasn't involved.

White joined Latics in the summer from Glentoran, and has featured for his country 12 times in the Under 16s, including scoring a winning goal against Scotland in the Victory Shield.

Northern Ireland are currently preparing for the UEFA Under 17 European Championship qualifiers in October when they'll travel to Israel to face France, Norway and the hosts.
