Latics legends Mike Pollitt, Joe Parkinson and Peter Atherton are all running the Wigan 10K on Sunday 6th September, raising money for the football club’s charity partner, Wigan Athletic Community Trust.

The trio of Wigan Athletic coaches, as well as Strength and Conditioning coach, James Barrow, join over 40 other runners raising money for the Trust, including participants from the Trust’s Fit Fans programme.

Mike said: “Wigan Athletic Community Trust is a great charity and over my years at the club, I’ve seen the amount of work they do in and around Wigan grow and improve.

“I’m delighted to be supporting the Trust in running the Wigan 10K and hopefully, with so many runners raising money for them, they can receive a great donation to help continue funding their work.”

All of the money raised will go towards continuing the award-winning work that the Community Trust completes in and around Wigan.
