Wigan Athletic winger Ryan Jennings has today extended his loan stay with Vanarama National League leaders Cheltenham Town until 30 January 2016.
The 20-year-old joined the Robins midway through November, making his debut as a second half substitute in a 4-0 victory over Southport, his first of four appearances for the club so far.
Jennings has started back-to-back matches for the Whaddon Road outfit, assisting their first goal in Saturday's 3-1 win against Chester. Cheltenham now sit top of the National League, four points ahead of Forest Green Rovers.
Speaking about Jennings' loan extension, manager Gary Caldwell said:
"Ryan's taken his opportunity at Cheltenham really well, he's adding to his first team experience and playing as part of a confident team with high ambitions.
"He's getting more and more involved as the weeks progress, so I'm very grateful that he's being given chances by Gary Johnson."
