PREVIEW

It's second versus third in the Football League Youth Alliance this weekend, with Latics hosting Walsall at Robin Park Arena on Saturday 12 December, kick off 11.00am.

Just one point separates both sides following the visitors' back-to-back defeats to Port Vale and league leaders Bury.  Latics approach the game on an 11 game unbeaten run in all competitions, having won their last seven (five in the league), with five straight clean sheets.

Bury are without a fixture this weekend, meaning victory for Latics would see them go top of the Youth Alliance.
