Matty Hamilton and Connor Keane make first team debuts.

  • Three Development Squad players in action on Saturday.
  • Hamilton and Keane debut for AFC Fylde and Newcastle Town.
  • Wilson continues run in Colwyn Bay team.

Matty Hamilton and Connor Keane made their first team debuts at the weekend, following loan moves on Friday to AFC Fylde and Newcastle Town respectively.

Forward Hamilton started for Vanarama Conference North promotion chasers AFC Fylde, with the Coasters unfortunately falling to a 2-1 defeat at home against Harrogate Town.  The Republic of Ireland Under 21 international completed 60 minutes on his first appearance for the club.

Goalkeeper Keane also made his debut on Saturday as Newcastle Town were beaten 2-0 by local rivals Stafford Rangers in the Evo-Stik Division One South, leaving the Staffordshire based club second in the league, just one point behind leaders Sutton Coldfield Town.

Elsewhere, defender Michael Wilson made his third appearance for Colwyn Bay in the Conference North, unfortunately facing a 2-0 home defeat against Worcester City.
