Hamilton, Wilson and Keane all in action over the weekend.
- Matty Hamilton and AFC Fylde stay 2nd with 1-1 draw against Hyde.
- Michael Wilson and Colwyn Bay pick up crucial point against Gloucester in survival bid.
- Connor Keane and Newcastle Town lose ground on leaders Mickleover Sports.
The Wigan Athletic Development Squad trio of Matty Hamilton, Michael Wilson and Connor Keane were all in action again over the weekend, with results leaving each of their team's objectives for the season hanging in the balance.
Hamilton started his second game for AFC Fylde, as the nine-men Coasters drew 1-1 at home to Hyde FC, leaving them one point behind Vanarama Conference North leaders Barrow with a game in hand. Hamilton played 61 minutes before being substituted.
Further down the Conference North, Colwyn Bay picked up a vital point in their bid for survival, as they drew 1-1 away at Gloucester City, leaving the Seagulls in 20th position on 29 points. Defender Michael Wilson completed 90 minutes.
In the Evo-Stik Division One South, Keane and Newcastle Town continue their fight for the title, but they faced a set back on Saturday when Mickleover Sports took all three points from the Aspire Stadium, despite an impressive display by Latics' young goalkeeper. The defeat leaves Newcastle 3rd in the table.
AFC Fylde host fellow promotion chasers Tamworth (3rd) on Saturday at Kellamergh Park, whilst Colwyn Bay also play at home, welcoming visitors Leamington (18th).
In the Evo-Stik, Newcastle travel to bottom side Brigg Town, who have recorded just 11 points so far this season.
