Club confirms that partnership between Wigan Athletic and Intersport has been extended for a further two years.

  • Wigan Athletic team shirts will carry Intersport logo for a further two years.

Wigan Athletic can confirm that it has extended the agreement for all playing strips to carry the Intersport logo for a further two years, until the summer of 2017.

Latics Chief Executive Jonathan Jackson says he is delighted to be able to build on a successful partnership with one of the biggest and most prestigious brands in European sports retail.

He said:

“Wigan Athletic have enjoyed the interaction and initiatives during year one of our partnership with Intersport. We knew at the time of agreeing the initial year long term that we were joining forces with a really supportive partner, and this has proved the case. We can now look ahead to a long-term relationship which is very positive for the Club.”

Intersport operate over 5,500 stores in 43 countries worldwide, with a reputation built up over six decades.
