Wigan Athletic committed to providing safe football environment.

Wigan Athletic Football Club is committed to providing a family friendly environment for its fans at every game.

The Club has a continual aim to ensure that there is no discrimination in any area of the Club, from job applicants and employees, to supporters and visitors.

Furthermore, the Club will not under any circumstances tolerate any form of racially based harassment or discriminatory behaviour or actions, whether physical or verbal, within the stadium.

As such, any discriminatory behaviour or treatment is met with appropriate action.

The Club is committed to an equal opportunities policy and actively works throughout the local community promoting social inclusion schemes and initiatives, all aimed at eliminating discrimination from football permanently.

One such scheme, Latics Kicks, is a football based social inclusion project provided by Wigan Athletic Community Trust, with support from the Premier League, Sport England and Wigan and Leigh Homes.

 ‘Tackle It’ boards are on display throughout the stadium, with details of how to report any incidents to the Club on their incident number 

Wigan Athletic also offers a confidential text line, allowing supporters to report incidents via texts to 07765 178 462.
