Girls pass FA Football Leaders course with Community Trust.

Girls from the Premier League Girl’s Football project provided by Wigan Athletic Community Trust took part in a Junior Football Leaders course at Wigan Youth Zone last weekend.

The course, provided by the FA, is a great first step for youngsters who want to become sports coaches.

All of the girls who passed the course and are now one step closer to going in to complete their FA Level One coaching badges.

Over 300 girls took part in the Premier League Girls Football project last year - the Girls Football sessions taking place through summer 2015 are as follows:

Mondays 6.00 – 7.00pm – Wigan Youth Zone, Parsons Walk, Wigan, WN1 1RU (ages 14+)
Wednesdays 6.00 – 7.00pm – West Lancashire Youth Zone, Yeadon, Skelmersdale, WN8 6NL (ages 12-19)
