Wigan Athletic can confirm the signing of Bolton Wanderers winger Sanmi Odelusi for an undisclosed fee.
The 22-year-old Londoner has put pen to paper on a three-year-deal at the DW Stadium and has joined the rest of the Latics squad as they continue their pre-season training this week.
Odelusi was on the books with Queens Park Rangers and Reading before making the switch to Bolton as a 16-year-old, going on to make nine appearances for Wanderers.
However, it was during loan spells at MK Dons then Coventry City that he really caught the eye and Latics manager Gary Caldwell is delighted to have netted the player.
“He has bags of potential,” Caldwell said. “He is still young , the right age and profile for the squad we are trying to build here and we feel he can be an important addition in time.
“He got a great taste of League One last season with Coventry and understands the demands of this division.”
