Match day Front of House Manager


An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced front of house manager to work on match days for Wigan Athletic Football Club.  This is a customer facing role interacting with Club Directors and Officials, supporters in hospitality areas and sponsors.

The position will encompass the following roles and responsibilities:-

  • Offering supporters a great first impression of match day hospitality on their visit to the DW Stadium
  • Meeting and greeting supporters as they first enter hospitality areas of the Stadium
  • Checking and verifying hospitality passes
  • Working as part of the match day hospitality team to ensure all hospitality customers have an enjoyable experience
  • Responding to customer queries and adopting a helpful approach to all queries
  • Assisting Club Directors, supporters and sponsors as they leave hospitality areas of the DW Stadium

The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:-

  • Previous successful experience working in a customer facing role ideally within a similar environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • A Positive ‘Can Do’ attitude
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexible to work both midweek and weekend’s as and when required




Match day Directors Car Park Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a professional and customer focussed person to manage the Directors car park on a match day.  This is a customer facing role offering the Chairman, Club Directors and Officials, supporters in hospitality areas and sponsors a warm and helpful welcome to the DW Stadium.

The position will encompass the following roles and responsibilities:-

  • Supervising the Directors car park on a match day
  • Escorting VIP’s from the Directors car park to the main reception as required
  • Responding to visitor enquiries in an efficient and acceptable manner
  • Working as part of the match day hospitality team to ensure all hospitality customers have an enjoyable experience
  • Assisting Club Directors and Officials, supporters in hospitality areas and sponsors as they leave the DW Stadium

The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:-
