Defender Rob Kiernan has completed a move to Rangers for an undisclosed fee.
Kiernan, who joins back up with manager Mark Warburton, with whom he worked at both Watford and Brentford, moves to the Scottish giants after four years at Wigan – although much of that time was spent on loan during various spells away from the DW Stadium.
The former Republic of Ireland Under 21 international joined Latics from Watford in 2011, but had to wait until March 2014 to make his full debut, in a 2-1 victory at the DW against his former club Watford. He went on to make 32 appearances for Latics, scoring his only goal for the club in a 2-2 draw with Leicester City in April 2014 in the Sky Bet Championship.
He also spent time on loan at Accrington Stanley, Brentford and Southend United.
