Wigan Athletic Development Squad midfielder, Adrian Purzycki and his international team mates completed the initial phase of the qualifying campaign for the UEFA European Under 19 Championships earlier today, drawing 2-2 with Luxembourg to finish top of qualifying group three on seven points following victories over Bulgaria and Cyprus last week.
The group stage started with a 1-0 win against Bulgaria last Wednesday, with second victory coming on Friday afternoon, a 3-0 triumph over hosts Cyprus.
Purzycki featured for the full 90 minutes in all three matches, taking his tally of youth international caps up to an impressive 15 (including U18s).
The Elite round draw is set to take place on 3 December 2015, with the fixtures played in early 2016 ahead of the summer finals in Germany.
