Over 1,200 Latics supporters are set to make the first away trip of the season as Wigan Athletic return to the Sky Bet Championship with a visit to Ashton Gate to face Bristol City on Saturday 6 August for a 3.00pm kick off.
Here are some useful tips and essential information ahead of Saturday's trip to Bristol.
A limited number of tickets remain on sale in advance from the DW Stadium Ticket Office, but once sold, admission to the match will not be available. There will NOT be a pay on the day option for this fixture.

TRAVEL: BY TRAIN
The closest station to Ashton Gate is Parson Street, roughly one mile away from the stadium.

TRAVEL: BY ROAD
The postcode for Ashton Gate is BS3 2EJ.
Supporters are advised to allow additional time for the journey to the stadium due to roadworks currently being carried out on the M5 near Cheltenham at A4019.

TRAVEL: BY BUS
There are several local match day bus services available in Bristol for access to the stadium, with options available below:

PARKING AND RECOMMENDED FACILITIES
Bedminster Cricket Club has a bar and food available, just five minutes walk from the stadium, but parking is no longer available to supporters. Private parking sites are available on Ashton Vale Road.
Away fans should avoid pubs on North Street, but the Nova Scotia and the Pump House welcome well-behaved away supporters. They are a 15 minute walk from the ground.
In the Fan Village (which opens at 12noon), situated outside the Sports Bar & Grill, will be:
A 30ft bar
Live guitarist and band
Olympics on the giant screen
The Sports Bar & Grill will be closed for general admission.
Latics supporters will be housed in the west end of the stand.
In the Atyeo Stand car park there will be the usual burger van and a Lavazza Coffee station.
The following alcoholic drinks will be available in the stadium:

In addition, soft drinks, hot drinks and water will be on offer.
