Community Trust’s Premier League 4 Sport programme running several Olympic-themed competitions at Wigan Youth Zone.

Next week, in celebration of the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, there will be a number of Premier League 4 Sport competitions taking place at Wigan Youth Zone, and we’re looking for teams to join in!

On Monday 8th August there will be a 3v3 basketball competition taking place from 6.00pm – 8.00pm; on Wednesday 10th August there will be athletics and badminton competitions taking place from 6.00pm – 8.00pm; and on Thursday 11th August a tennis competition will be held from 6.00pm – 7.00pm.

Over 700 youngsters have got involved with Wigan Athletic Community Trust’s Premier League 4 Sport programme at Wigan Youth Zone over the last 12 months, across several Olympic sports.

The Community Trust provide Premier League 4 Sport sessions throughout the year at a number of locations, with sports including athletics, badminton, basketball, hockey, netball, table tennis, tennis and volleyball.
