Join Wigan Athletic Community Trust in celebrating the Youth Zone’s 3rd birthday!

Wigan Youth Zone, the UK’s largest youth club, celebrated its 3rd birthday last month and they’re marking the occasion with a ‘Carnival Chaos’ open day on Sunday 7th August 2016.

There will be a huge number of fun activities and games taking place on the day, including Wheelchair Strictly Come Dancing, Donkey Derbies, Art Attack sessions, trampolining, live music and much more!

Plus, Wigan Athletic Community Trust will be providing football and sports activities throughout the open day, as part of their partnership with the Youth Zone.

As part of the build up to Wigan Youth Zone’s birthday, this week we’ll be taking a look at the projects and activities that the Community Trust offer at the Youth Zone, including 5-a-side football leagues, Premier League 4 Sport, disability sports and more!

When Wigan Youth Zone first opened in 2013, four state of the art 4G pitches were provided thanks to funding from the Premier League and Wigan Athletic Community Trust continue to use the pitches as part of their football programme at the Youth Zone

Entry to ‘Carnival Chaos’ is free and open to all members of the public and will take place at Wigan Youth Zone on Sunday 7th August from 10.00am – 5.00pm.
