Wigan Athletic’s official matchday programme has continued where it left off last season with recognition for its design, content and value, with the Independent View naming this season’s edition as the most-improved across the Championship.
Editor Ashley Houghton won the Editor of the Year award across the top four divisions in English football and the programme finished joint third with Leeds United – behind Newcastle United and also QPR – in the overall rankings for the Championship.
The club has continued to take great pride in its official publication, with wide-ranging praise for features such as Jonathan Jackson’s ‘Diary from the Boardroom’, ‘Don’t I Know You?’ and ‘Got It Covered’ coming in for particular praise.
We would like to thank all of our contributors for their continued support and would encourage any supporters who would like to put ideas forward for features in the programme to email Ashley (firstname.lastname@example.org) or write to him at the DW Stadium.
