PREVIEW

Latics and Walsall meet for the second consecutive match in the Final Third Development League West, with Peter Atherton's side aiming to turn around the 1-0 defeat at Lilleshall National Sports Centre at the end of January.

Reece Flanagan's free kick was the difference on that day in a cagey contest, which took Walsall to the summit of the division on 17 points from eight matches.  The defeat left Latics in third place on 10 points from six matches, four points behind Shrewsbury Town in second on 14 points from eight matches.  Fourth place Bradford City are also on 10 points, but from just five matches.

Latics' form is something else Atherton will be looking to address, having won just one from their last five matches, scoring nine but conceding 13.

Walsall head into the match off the back of a 3-2 defeat to Lichfield City in the Walsall Senior Cup.
