A club best fifth round appearance awaits for Latics on Tuesday evening when they welcome Manchester City to the DW Stadium in the FA Youth Cup for a 7.00pm kick off.
Latics head into the clash with Barclays Premier Academy League leaders City off the back of a 3-0 victory over Burnley in the Football League Youth Alliance, on a current unbeaten run of 17 matches, stretching back to the end of September.
Will Ryder's side have won five of their last six matches and currently sit top of the Youth Alliance on 34 points from 15 games. Latics also remian in the Lancashire FA Youth Cup, and will face Oldham Athletic in the second round on Saturday 13 February.
