Mixu Paatelainen's side remain bottom of the division, but are now only eight points behind 11th place Kilmarnock and 10 points behind 10th place Hamilton Academical, with a game in hand over both.

Midfielder Danny Whitehead made his return from injury on Saturday afternoon, featuring for 85 minutes in Macclesfield Town's 0-0 draw at home to Wrexham.

Torquay United and Dan Lavercombe's Wembley dream came to an end on Saturday when they narrowly lost 1-0 away at Bognor Regis Town in the FA Trophy quarter final on Saturday.
Lavercombe played the full 90 minutes, with the Gulls beaten by a Snorre Nilsen goal.
