Craig Morgan and Jason Pearce join over forty junior footballers at Lowton half term camp.

Wigan Athletic’s Craig Morgan and Jason Pearce joined in with over forty young footballers at a Community Trust half term Soccer School in Lowton on Tuesday.

The defensive duo got stuck straight in with some friendly football matches as the camp finished off their day, as well as taking it in turns between the sticks for some of the younger footballers as they practiced their penalty-taking skills.

Craig said: “It’s brilliant to be able to join in with football camps like this, with so many kids wanting to practice their skills and play as much football as they can.

“Me and Jason really enjoyed coming out to the camp, there were some great little footballers there and they definitely didn’t let us have it easy!”

Wigan Athletic Soccer Schools provide opportunities for 6-14 year olds to train with the Community Trust’s coaches, learning and improving their football skills, making friends and most importantly – having fun.
