PREVIEW

Latics' Under 18s are in FA Youth Cup action this Tuesday evening, when they welcome Derby County in the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup, and you can see them live at the DW Stadium!

Kick off is at 7.00pm, with admission at £5.00 for adults and £3.00 for concessions, as Latics look to extend their run in the competition.

Will Ryder's side arrive at the DW unbeaten in 90 minutes since 26 September 2015, having won 13 of their last 15 fixtures.  Saturday proved to be a blip on Latics' impeccable record, when they were eliminated from the Youth Alliance Cup following a 4-1 defeat on penalties to Shrewsbury Town after a 1-1 draw in normal time.

Latics are flying high in the Youth Alliance, leading the division above local rivals Bury.

Visitors Derby come into the game off the back of a 3-3 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Under 18 Premier League on Saturday, with the young Rams currently fourth in group two.

THE YOUTH CUP SO FAR - LATICS

It's three from three so far for Latics, arriving in the competition at the first round with a 4-2 victory over York City at Robin Park Arena, with a close-fought 1-0 win away at Lincoln City seeing them through in the second round, before a comfortable 3-1 win back at Robin Park in the third round.

THE YOUTH CUP SO FAR - DERBY

The Rams only entered the competition at the third round stage, but they grabbed themselves a hard-fought victory over West Ham United at the iPro Stadium, clinching a 3-1 victory after extra time.

PREVIOUS YOUTH CUP MEETING

Latics travelled to Derby back in the 2013/14 season, and ran out to a narrow defeat in a goal-fest at the iPro.
