Bogdan joined Liverpool last summer and made two Barclays Premier League appearances for The Reds, plus four appearances in the League cup and FA Cup. The majority of his career in England was spent with Bolton Wanderers, where he spent time alongside both Jasskelainen and former Latics favourite Ali Al Habsi. He made 120 appearances in all competitions for Wanderers, and has 20 caps for Hungary.

“He obviously knows Jussi from his time at Bolton, he knows the area, the training ground is familiar to him and I’m sure he will be a great addition to the squad.”
