Raise money for Wigan Athletic Community Trust.

Wigan Athletic Community Trust are looking for runners to complete the Wigan 10K on Sunday 4th September 2016, to raise money for the vital work that they complete in the Wigan community.

Those who sign up to run on behalf of the Community Trust will receive free entry into the race, a commemorative t-shirt and access to several training sessions in the build up.

All that runners have to do is raise a minimum of £100 each in donations ahead of the race – the runner who raises the highest amount will also receive two fully-paid hospitality places at a Wigan Athletic home game in the 2016/17 season!

A team of 43 runners took part in the 2015 Wigan 10K, including Latics legends Mike Pollitt, Peter Atherton and Joe Parkinson, raising a fantastic £4,500 in sponsorship money.

All of the money raised from the run will go towards continuing the award-winning work of the Community Trust, which is provided to over 10,000 people every year.

To sign up to run the Wigan 10K for Wigan Athletic Community Trust, please contact Chris Baxter at the Trust, on 01942 488 530 or email
