Latics' 2015-16 top goal scorer Will Grigg has been named in Northern Ireland's final 23-man squad for this summer's 2016 UEFA European Championships, as announced by former Latics midfielder and Northern Ireland boss Michael O'Neill at midday on Saturday.
Grigg, who scored 28 goals in all competitions for Latics on the way to the Sky Bet League One title, also netted his first international goal last night as Northern Ireland beat Belarus 3-0 in their final home friendly at Windsor Park ahead of the tournament itself.
The 24-year-old and his team mates will face their final warm up match ahead of the competition away to Slovakia on Saturday 4 June, before their opening Group C match against Poland on Sunday 12 June at Stade de Nice.
Fellow Latics striker Billy Mckay, who spent the 2015-16 season out on loan at Dundee United, was named in the provisional 28-man squad, but has unfortunately not made the final 23-man group.
