INTERNATIONAL: SHAUN MACDONALD CALLED UP TO WALES SQUAD TO FACE SERBIA

Midfielder continues involvement in World Cup qualifying squad.

  • Shaun MacDonald called up to Wales squad to face Serbia on 12 November.

Latics midfielder Shaun MacDonald has been called up into Chris Coleman's Wales squad for the upcoming 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Serbia at the Cardiff City Stadium on Saturday 12 November 2016, kick off 7.45pm.

The 28-year-old will be looking to add to his four caps for the Dragons, having been involved in both of the qualifying squad so far as an unused substitute.

Wales currently sit third in Group D on five points, unbeaten with a victory over Moldova and draws with Austria and Georgia, leaving them two points behind leaders Serbia and second place Republic of Ireland.

The full squad was announced by FA Wales at 11.00am on Wednesday 2 November as shown below:
