Latics' leading goal scorer Will Grigg has been named in Northern Ireland's squad to face Azerbaijan in a 2018 World Cup qualifier and Croatia in a friendly at Windsor Park this month, returning to the squad for the first time since the 2016 UEFA European Championships in France this summer.
Grigg, who has scored six goals in all competitions so far this season and has one goal in eight caps for Northern Ireland, has been welcomed back into the squad by manager Michael O'Neill:

O'Neill's men currently sit third in their World Cup qualifying group having won, draw and lost to collect four points from three matchees, with Germany top on nine points and opponents Azerbaijan second on seven.
