“The position is fully backed by UEFA and is an independent role unaffiliated with any single department within Wigan Athletic.
“Ian and Jason have proved to be great SLOs for our supporters and their passion for the club shines through, with both having supported Latics for many years.
“Recently, the Latics Fans Advisory Board has been set up, which brings together 15 fans, management of the club and Ian and Jason in one room once a month to go through a wide-range of issues relating to Wigan Athletic.
“We are pleased to see Ian and Jason nominated for the award and we wish them well in just under two weeks’ time at the final awards ceremony.”
